Why would I need a pet care service?🐾For the same reason we need teachers, nannies, nurses, etc- to be a part of your pet's care team. 🐾As professional pet care providers, we have a well rounded experience working with many types of pets and families. This means our staff is uniquely prepared to handle almost any challenges and have insight on specific pets and their behaviors. 🐾Pet parents are the most vital part of a pet's environment and life. We work together to create a safe and loving life for your pet when you have other things to tackle.

How will I be sure that my pet is secured/safe?🐾Our staff are trained in basic safety techniques and pet first aid. The safety and well being of your pet is of utmost importance. There are many ways in which we guarantee that pets will not come into harm during our visits. Pet parents can assist with keeping their pets safe by ensuring all entry points to the home are secured, the proper equipment has been provided, and that accurate information regarding the pets health and behavior history has been included in their paperwork.
-
How will you ensure that my pet will be comfortable around you if it is the first time that you met my pet?🐾Every first visit is preceded by a Meet and Greet consultation, or as we like to say "Meet N Treat". This allows your pet to get used to our scent and presence, as well as determine our compatibility. 🐾Please contact us today to schedule a free Meet n Treat (generally 30 minutes)
-
Do you have experience with rare or exotic pets?🐾The exotic animals I have experience with are chinchillas and rabbits
-
How am I going to monitor my pet while away from me?🐾You're able to monitor your pet by contacting us and during their care. Generally you will choose a time range in which JPNC care providers will be responsible for your pets. During that time you are free to call or message the staff member taking care of your pet. However, we also understand that updates are important for pet parents and we'll check in at least once a day for every visit.

What would Josie like to know about your pet?🐾Information like temperament, allergies, likes/dislikes are useful! I need to know if your dog is reactive or anxious in certain environments/situations. This is not to be exclusive, but for better care. 🐾I also would love to know any of their favorite things I should know about or bring along, toys or treats. (This doesn't guarantee that we always have their favorite things on stock, but for special occasions and once on a while gifts) 🐾We can discuss these traits during our first Meet N Greet, and detail them in your pets' information packet.
-
What type of activities will my pet have once I avail one of the overnight services?🐾It depends on the needs of your pet! Typically, your pet will have company from late afternoon until morning. During the day, staff members will have other assignments, but will not leave your pet for more than 4.5 hours. 🐾Dogs- they will receive 2-4 walks, combined or in addition to enrichment activities. If there is space (public or private) for free running, this will be allowed if determined safe. Depending on temperament, you dog may also practicing training 🐾Cats- cleaning and comfort are most important for cats. Your cat will have plenty of attention. Depending on the personality, they will have play time or snuggle time. For more shy or non-socialized cats for the comfort of their environment will be prioritized. 🐾Other pets will have to be discussed individually. Please send an email or schedule a Meet & Treat for more details

How many dogs do you walk at once?🐾I only walk a single household at a time. The only only circumstances in which i would accept multiple households for the same walk, is for close neighbors and minimum 45minute walk to include pick up and drop off time between homes.Within one household, I can walk up to 4 dogs under 60 lbs, or two dogs 60 lb or over. I have an employee to assist me for households in greater need, please contact us for more details and specifics for your household.

Do you cater pets with aggressive behaviors?🐾When it comes to aggression, we have limited capabilities to deal with severe behavioral problems. For pets that have a history of violence or severe anxiety/aggression, we've only take animals that are currently undergoing training and reinforcement. This is a case-by-case basis. You are encouraged to send an email or schedule a meet and greet to determine eligibility
